The Legendary Boston/New York Rapper Keith Elam aka Guru died of cancer Monday (April 19,2010). He was 43 years old. Guru leaves behind a wonderful musical legacy with his group Gang Starr as well as his solo career with the Jazzmatazz albums. The King Of Monotone didn't need to use tricky wordplay to get his point across on the mic. His no nonsense delivery was one of a kind. Please Read Below The Elam family wishes to thank the fans of our son/brother/father uncle/nephew/cousin Keith aka GURU for the outpouring of love, concern and support. Our hearts are broken by the loss of someone we loved so much. GURU was devoted to his young son, who will most keenly feel his absence. GURU suffered from multiple myeloma for over a year. Accrued complications from this illness led to respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. As a result, GURU was in a coma from mid February until his death and never regained consciousness. Early on the morning of April 19th, he became hypertensive due to low blood pressure. He again went into cardiac arrest and slipped away from us. GURU died far too young but he was, and we are, proud of all his many legendary musical contributions. The family is not aware of any foundations established by GURU. We know and understand that countless fans want to express their condolences and love and, to that end, we are planning a memorial event in the near future that will be all-inclusive ...

MANILA, Philippines — Movie actor Rudy Fernandez succumbed to periampullary cancer at his home in White Plains, Quezon City at 6:15 am Saturday. He was 55. Fernandez had been battling the disease for more than two years. The action star passed away five days after he was brought home from the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City, where he had been confined for a month. He and wife Lorna Tolentino celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Sunday. He suffered a seizure on Wednesday but refused to be taken back to the Cardinal Santos Memorial Center in San Juan City. His close friends, Sens. Jinggoy Estrada and Ramon "Bong" Revilla, broke the news to media minutes after his death. His wife and other friends were with him as he passed away, Estrada said. Fernandez's remains lie in state at the Heritage Park in Taguig City. Interment plans will be announced later. Revilla told the Inquirer that Fernandez had suffered from internal bleeding for several days. He also said Fernandez was glassy-eyed most of the time and had difficulty recognizing people. Revilla said that while he was on his way to the Fernandez home at 9 pm Friday, the veteran actor's blood pressure had plummeted. This is actually a really funny episode although most people dont mention it under their list of funny episodes or whatever. If you have not seen this episode before or you want to find out what happenens, read below: Plot: The charmed ones consist of 3 sisters; paige matthews, phoebe and piper halliwell. In this episode piper is heavily pregnant with baby Wyatt. Piper faints and has to go to the hospital where she finds out she has high blood pressure and the only cure is to rest and have no stress. Meanwhile Phoebe and Paige find lots of magical baby gifts and a unicorn in the manor. They find out that their magic doesnt work and Leo confirms that all magic is down. They dont want to tell Piper because it will stress her out so they hide it from her. A demon attacks Paige but as their magic doesnt work, they stab him using a knife and hide him in the closet from Pipr. They get a visit from their father who reveals he has a new wife. His wife freaks them out and offeres to stay upstairs and look after Piper. Piper can tell their is something going on but she is stuck in bed. Phoebe and Paige get a visit from another deamon asking to call a meetin between good and evil to bring back magic, but no weapons are alloud.
