I take a couple of vitamins in the afternoon and end up taking them with my coffee. Biotin, vitamin c, and cod liver oil.

How much vitamin D is considered overdose?

I eat yogurt almost daily, and I also take cod liver oil. Recently, my family switched to larger CLO capsules, which provides 50% (200 IU) daily value of vitamin D. The yogurt also provides 50% vitamin D. At my house, we only drink whole milk, but I don't drink it very often. Also, where I live, it is currently spring. Is this too much vitamin D?

Colds in the winter?

Does cold weather really give you a cold/flu? To late to answer to last post.

Because of the lack of sun exposure in the winter we get colds.

We would be healthier if we took cod liver oil in the winter months (Vitamin-D). The best part is that it supports the immune system and helps prevent colds and infections as well as middle ear infections.

We need 20 minutes of sunlight a day to provide adequate vitamin D levels. Ultraviolet light is subdivided into UVA and the even shorter-wavelength UVB radiation. UVB is the component that initiates Vitamin-D production in the skin.

We also store the vitamin D for up to 4 months in our fatty tissues. Most of us run low by February.

Although everyone is vulnerable to vitamin-D deficiency, especially in winter, certain groups are particularly predisposed. First, when exposed to the same amount of sunlight, elderly individuals produce only 20% of the vitamin-D young adults do. As a result, more than half of individuals older than 65 are vitamin-D deficient.

I did a really stupid thing- should I be concerned?

I ovulated yesterday or the day before, so I don't think this is pregnancy related??
I took some vitamins last night on an empty stomach- pretty sizable ones. I'm going to list them, in case anyone has some insight. B Complex 100, Calcium/ Magnesium/ Zinc, Iron, Folic acid and Cod liver oil. They were all within the daily recommended doses.
This morning, I woke up feeling incredibly nauseas and threw up. I got the idea that is was the vitamins because I could really taste the iron pill. Now, I am still nauseas, have chills (temp 100 deg) and have been experience diarrhea (sorry about that).
I'm really scared that I have done something to myself to jeopardise this month's TTC efforts.
Should I call my doctor and ask about it, or am I making a mountain out of a molehill?
hi, sorry, TTC ="trying to conceive."
Temperature is up to 101 now. I think I will call. I also have ovarian pain. What the heck is going on?
