How can I lose 40 pounds in 4 months?
Im planning on going to see my family in memphis for christmas but the last time i saw my dad was a couple of years ago when i dropped 30 pounds due to being ill. I recently quit smoking and gained it all back plus a few pounds..problem is he told everyone that i was really pretty and skinny...i've been fat my whole life so it was exciting to them. I feel ugly and gross and i really wanna drop the weight. here is my problem..im an extremely picky eater i dont like things too juicy,textured,etc which has made my diet extremely limited I have tried new food and it makes me puke because i already think in my head im gonna hate it. Please help me get over this fear of food and some fast exercise tips..also would taking vitamin b12,b complex, and folic acid help in any way??

How do I make my hair look this shiny?
I normally have naturally curly hair but I have been straightening it lately and I would like to straighten it for Christmas tomorrow too. My hair is about 3ish inches from my shoulders (more or less..?) so its pretty long. I have side bangs and my hair is a darkish brown.
I also have no idea what the correct way is to part my hair? I normally have it parted all the way on the left side. And its just one line down my head. I have a big forehead also so I try to cover it. What's the correct way to part it? Pictures would help!
And also, how do I make my hair look this shiny? I'm not asking for products because I'm not just going to go out and buy them. Just natural ways or something? When I take a shower I just shampoo twice(garneier fructis sleek n shine), get out, use a leave in conditioner(garneier fructis), and I just got this anti-frizz serum from pro vitamin C. (i've never used it, is it good?) I've tried rinsing in cold water and it does NOT work at all. I also tried putting an egg in my hair but I don't think I did it right..? What do you use/do? Also when I straighten my hair I use a heat protectant spray from tresemme. This is how shiny I want my hair (or more shiny and silky, not greasy):

Vitamins make my stomach sick?
I'm 22 years old. Ever since I graduated from flinstone chewables, my stomach has always been sick from vitamins! No matter what brand of multi vitamin I buy, or what 'special type' (For women, etc..)... it always upsets my stomach.
I've tried taking the vitamin in the morning after a meal (becuase I know some vitamins need water to break down and others need fat)...I've tried taking them before the meal, I've tried this at lunch time and as well as at dinner time... No matter when I take it - what time of day or before/after a meal...it makes my stomach sick.
I have younger siblings (7, 8, and 9 years old) and last year for christmas I put Scooby Doo gummy vitamins in their stockings... I also bought a bottle for myself(forgot what brand, a popular multi vitamin brand)... These vitamins do NOT hurt my stomach at all! I can take them at any time of day and I'm completely fine.
It says for children over 12&adults chew 2 gummies a day.
Do you think that I'm still getting nutrients from these gummies? Or am i wasting my money?
***ALSO, calcium especially makes my stomach sick. All calcium supplements that I've tried. If I'm drinking and eating food with fortified calcium, am I okay in that department? I do not like milk but I buy calcium fortified orange juice and bread and pasta, and I eat yogurt almost every day. Do I need an additional suppliment?
Is it better to take biotin on its own, or a hair skin & nails pill from GNC? 10pts best answerrr :)?
See, for the past few weeks since christmas i've been taking 1500mcg of biotin a day, but im almost out. Within the next few days im going to go to GNC and buy more...but i was thinking if i should try a difference pill.
Would a hair skin and nails vitamin be more effective?
and is there anything harmful in them, or any side effects?

25 December 2006 Little Baby Gabriel 1st Christmas Part Two
Little Baby Gabriel opens both his precious eyes for us for his 1st Xmas that we shared together even despite he wasn't feeling well. He was being taken off ECMO 26 Dec 2006 & he was on reduction now from 375 to 200. His other meds had been redcuced too like his high blood pressure medicine & his pain medicine. The 19th Dec, his 2nd operation had given us a horrible scare as though his operation to take out a blood clot out of his left collapsed, non-working lung was successful, but later that night, Poor Little Gabriel bled too much from his 3 drain tubes, so they had to reclamp it off, & reblodclot the area. Dr.s can't figure out where the bleeding is coming from.. He had lost alot of blood, so Dr.'s had to recycle his blood while filtering as well as give him more. Unfortunately, later that night, the bleeding wouldn't stop so the Dr's had to reclamp it off & reblodclot his lung in another attempt to save his life making the operation null & void. Gabe has now had 2 major operations & many failed attempts to get him off ECMO & CVVH. Time was running short for beloved Little Gabriel but the very next day on the 26th of December, we would have nothing short of a miracle when Gabriel was not only able to get off ECMO but CVVH as well, his high blood pressure medicine, & was able to be maintained on a mere ventilator!!
