rapid weight loss please help ?

first of all, I am a fairly intelligent woman who knows a lot about nutrition and exercise and is familiar with all the dangers of starving yourself etc. etc. my question is ( and please, I really know about slowing down your metabolism, depriving your body and all that): is there any way to loose weight super fast, given that you keep a strict regime for a month and only a month, take vitamins, exercises as much as you can. how low can you actually go in your calories if you do it for a short period of time? some people fast, does this actually work? you read all he time that when you starve yourself, your metabolism slows down and you stop losing weight, but anorectics (not that I aspire to be one :((), they do lose weight, right? what I really would like to know, can I survive 2-4 weeks, eating only the minimum, drinking protein shakes, exercising and taking vitamins and lose an amount of weight that is worth doing this? Im talking about losing at least 10-15 pounds. has anybody tried to do it sensibly? has it worked? can this cause permanent damage to your bones or do other damage? thank you.

Is this a good diet plan? It has nothing to do with weight loss.?

I am a 18 year old male, at 5'7.5 and about 165-170. I came down with mono for a while, got better, and then because of having to finish up my second semester of my senior year so I could graduate, I got sick again. I didn't get enough sleep and didn't eat enough. I was aware of this, so I ate a little more during the past couple months, but not as much as I thought. I was around 190 pounds before I got sick, most of the weight was muscle, but some of it was some extra fat.
1. I plan on eating 3000 calories a day from food alone over 4 or 5 meals.
2. I also plan to take this mega dose vitamin called clearvite once a day or one a day men's pro edge.
3. Drinking at least 85 fluid ounces of liquid a day.
-mostly water
-1 glass of orange juice
-1 glass of milk
-1 32 or 64 ounce bottle of Gatorade
- can include tea and lemonade
4. Go to bed no later than 10 pm.
Sorry I meant 1 20 or 32 ounce Gatorade.
What is up with people and ads on here? Get a freaking life and some sunshine. That never hurt either.

How can I lose weight when nothing works?…any weight loss drugs?

NOTHING seems to work. I went on a low fat no carb diet and watched my calories for three weeks and worked out two hours a day. Nothing happened. If anything, I gained weight. I have tried everything. Even my mom says that I should be losing because I don't eat that much in the first place.

What are some drugs I could take to get this weight off? I take vitamins already so No, that doesn't work.
Yes I did go to the doctor. I have an iron deficiency and now I have been taking the iron pills for about 3 months. Still.....nothing.

Random info.
I'm female, 22 years old, 5' 8", last time weighed 250lbs. :( That was 6 months ago when I had a baby. I gained a ton of weight while pregnant. I've been eating healthy since then, just way too much food, and I hate the feeling of being too full. I eat really slow to avoid that feeling. I want to make a serious life change. This isn't a "diet" to me, it's what I really would like to eat. I like "bland" food too, as in no extra dressing or sauces. I'm not a big fan of meat but I'm not against it. I'm stuck inside with my baby all day but I do go out for a couple walks daily (pushing a stroller so I can't go too fast) 30-60 minutes each. I stretch and I do squats, lunges, and plié squats (I googled what they are called, site below). I usually do 20-50 at a time, of each, then walk around the house until the burn wears off. I try to do that twice a day, more if I feel like it. In a few weeks I'm going to start swimming a lot at the beach near my apartment. I also drink about a gallon of water everyday, sometimes more (I never feel sick from it). I take a prenatal vitamin and DHA/EPA combo (two separate pills) and a few fenugreek pills (I just stopped breastfeeding and had a bunch left). I reintroduced coffee, my guilty pleasure that I'm not willing to give up. I don't smoke. I would like to lose weight and just feel healthier. No set goals besides a healthy lifestyle, smaller clothes, and setting a good example for my son. :)

Is Vitamin Water a good alternative to diet pop?

Latley i been drinking vitamin water , instead of diet pop from all the bad things im hearing. I recently lost over 100 lbs, and just want to keep my wait steady. Also want to get rid of some excess body fat i have left over. I was just wondering if vitamin water is just another one of those "healthy" things they say they are. I dont think the 150 calories and 20carbs is really that bad, but i dont know.

So what's the truth about vitamin enhanced beverages?

I know many of these beverages are loaded with calories and sugar, but I am curious about the vitamins. I've heard differing views. On a morning show it was said that you can only absorb water soluble vitamins when consumed as a beverage. Is that true?

Does your body absorb any of these vitamins? It would seem that when consumed in this way the fluid would dilute the vitamin content. Or, if they're water soluble you would be excreting much of it because you can't store that type in the body.

I am a little confused and would just like some extra information on the subject. Best Answer Awarded!
