How does salt affect the Blood pressure?
I'm not sure if I understood what my teacher taught us...
1. The food we eat contains salt
2. too much salt gives the kidney a hard time and sends the salt in the bloodstream...
( I know the kidney regulates excess salt by urinating )
3. Salt in the blood stream attracts water ... follow up question: water from where?
4. too much water in the bloodstream pushes the blood vessels and causing high blood pressure
a step by step answer on how salt affects the blood pressure would be nice... :D
How long does Vitamin D take to activate?
How long does Vitamin D (D3) take to convert to it's activated form once it enters the bloodstream?
How long does it take to recover from chronic vitamin a toxicity?
I've read that it takes 200-300 days for the body to remove the excess accumulation of vitamin a in the liver, bloodstream, and fat cells. Is this true? My main symptoms include skin dryness/buildup, minimal hair loss, fatigue, and back pain. I've been off any and all vitamins for 180 days now.
(I took around 15,000 iu's of retinol for 1 1/2 years)
