Am I pairing the right vitamins with diet and exercise to lose weight?
I am taking Vitamin A, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, FlaxSeed Oil, iron, Cinnamon capsules, Green tea capsules, ginseng capsules, and Cayenne fruit capsules along with my daily exercise and diet regimen. Am I taking too much or even the right things? I am taking the dosages like the label suggests, but I have never really taken any supplements before, but diet and exercise have never worked with me before. I do suffer from anemia.

Why is it that if I take a vitamin supplement before I drink I'm more likely to have a hangover?
I know it doesn't seem to make any sense but if I take a B-complex vitamin before a night of drinking I always wake up hungover. If I don't take one, I'm fine.
Are there any consequenses for drinking vitamin B and C and the same time ?

Is it ok to take a b complex vitamin and a multi vitamin?
I take a multi vitamin everyday, but I lack energy. I'm hoping to change that with the b complex vitamin. I don't want to overdose on b vitamins though! Should I get rid of the multi? If so, what about the iron aspect? Help!
Thank you!
Why do Vitamin B supplements differ so much in the amount of vitamins they contain?
For example, some B-complex vitamin pills contain 10 mcg of B12, yet others contain 1000 mcg. That's a factor of 100 difference. Same goes with other B vitamins. Why such a big difference? The recommended daily intake of B12 is 2-3 mcg, isn't 1000+ mcg too extreme? How much should I take?
Question about vitamin intake and natural antidepressants?
I currently take a B-Complex vitamin with Vitamin C, 200 mcg of Selenium, 100 mg of Omega 3 Fish Oil concentrate, and 200 mg of SAM-e. Do you think this is safe? I would ask a doctor but I don't have health insurance to cover a visit. If anyone knows from experience or is a doctor, your insight would be great and much appreciated.
Also, I have depression and anxiety which is why I am taking all of this.
Can i take these Vitamins together in tablet form?
Saw Palmetto - which has Zinc,Nettle & Amino Acids included.
Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin C - Chewable form, 240mg a day
Omega oils 3,6 and 9 - tablet 1 a day
And the last tablet is a Skin, Hair and Nails tablet to keep them healthy, it has Vitamins D,E,C,Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin,B6,Folic Acid, B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Selenium, Chromium, Iodine, Beta Carotene, L-Cysteine.
They are all taken daily, but the omega ones i take usually every other day...is this dangerous to my body?
I take them with Pomegranate Juice in the mornings with breakfast (porridge)

26 year old female with drastically thinning hair?
Over the last year, my fine hair has gotten drastically thin. I can't wear it down anymore because you can see through to the scalp in different places.
1.) The women in my family have thin hair, but not like this. Mine is much thinner and you don't see their scalp.
2.) Yes, I have had a lot of stress in the last 2 months, but before that it was nothing out of the ordinary. My hair does seem to have thinned out alot more in the last 4 months or so.
3.) No, I have not been to a doctor. I do not have health insurance. I started taking a multi-vitamin and hair supplements (which is pretty much a B complex vitamin) about two weeks ago.
4.) I have not color treated my hair or done anything else with chemicals to it in over 2 years.
5.) I just recently quit smoking cigarettes.
6.) I tried getting my hair cut to above my shoulders, and it doesn't seem to have really helped much. It makes the bottom half look nice and full, but it's the top part that I'm having the problems with.
7.) I know that wearing it back tightly can cause damage- but I can't wear it down because you can see scalp patches. Wearing it in a ponytail is the only option right now.
8.) It is not breakage- on the pieces that come out, the white bulb is on the end.
I just don't know what to do. I don't want to use Minoxidil because (1) the side effects aren't the best and (2) it's a lifetime committment and (3) it's very inconvenient for women to use.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I feel like I'm pretty young for this to be happening and am honestly starting to get depressed and feel hopeless. I'm also not thin enough to shave it all off (nor confident enough).
