teen- Skin bleaching a scar vs. Vitamin E?

I'm alot happier these days but theres one little problem....

Kk, so Im getting my belly button pierced in a month. But i have a big scar right underneath my belly button (my luck). I have darker skin so its not light and pink- its big and dark & noticeable. I was thinking of using some sort of skin bleach for African Americans just for that one spot- not all over. Ive never used bleach before so i dont know how long it would take to work or if it would even work. do you know? anyhoo, I also heard of buying Vitamin E tablets and breaking them on the skin to reduce the appearance of scars. But I think skin bleach would be more direct and/or better for an improvement. I know the risks of skin bleach from their ingredients. So I will be on the lookout for a less-harsh one. Any you can prefer that work? I just want this to lighten up soon. Bio-Oil, cocoa butter and exfoiliating help, but I need something more direct. Anything effective helps!(: But of course along with any product I'll also be eating right, drinking more water and excercising more (haha to get that young jennifer tilly/j.Lo body). Will that help with the scar specifically?
