Help me find a Multivitamin!?
I just finished reading two books:
The Acne Cure by Terry J. Durow and Hair Loss Prevention: Through Natural Remedies by Ken Peters. They both cover a section of diet and supplements one should take. They mainly focus on there particular part skin/hair. I'm now combined both of then and am now looking for a Multivitamin/s that best covers all the following:
Combo of Hair book & Skin book
Supplement Intake
Vitamin A: 10,000 IU per day
With Beta Carotene (Specify Natural Source)
Alpha Lipoic Acid - 100 mg
Vitamin B Complex 100 mg
- Thiamin (B1)
- Riboflavin (B2)
- Niacin (B3) take 25mg with a meal. Should Buy on its own
Naicin is not to be confused with the other from B3 Niacinamide
- Pantothenic Acid (B5) 100mg three (3) times a day to 1000mg
- Pyridoxine (B6)
- Biotin (B7): 300mcg (but some people take 3 times more then that)
- Folic Acid (B9)
- Take B-Complex Supplement that has all he ones you want to focus on.
- Take 3 times a day (though out your day is most effective.)
Vitamin C - 1,000-5,000 mg (take more the older you are)
Should include Bioflavanoids. (Specify ‘Buffered’)
Vitamin E: Begin with 400 IU per day and week up to 800 IU during a course of a few weeks (Specify Natural Source)
- ALWAYS USE “ ’d’ alpha tocopherol”
- DO NOT USE “ ’dl’ alpha tocopherol”
- try and get a combo with Gamma Tocopherol (more if your older)
Inositol: 100mg to 200mg per day
Para-aminobenizoic Acid (PABA): 100mg (1000-3000mg was used in study)
L-Cysteine: (Pure Form) 500mg twice a day.
Calcium - 1,000 mg
Iodine: Seaweeds and Ocean plants is most effective as a supplement
Magnesium - 200 mg
Selenium - 200 mg
Chromium - 200 mg
Zinc - 15-50mg per day. (15-25 is best). To much is Very Bad
Different forms are:
- zinc gluconate- zinc citrate
- zinc picolinate - zinc monomethionate
Sulfur:
L-Methionine - L-Cysteine - L-Taurine - L-Glutathione
- Sulfur supplement must be as a single Amino Acid and NOT apart of a Amino Complex
Iron: DO NOT USE Ferrous Sulfate as a supplement.
- Floradix (Best supplement brand of Iron)
Silica: 10 and 20mg. Recommended 2 to 3 times that amount for a month and slowly reduce.
- EFA supplements are: 3 capsules a day.
- Flaxseed Oil*

Dr Whiting on Diabetes and Hypoglycemia
There are many potential complications from diabetes, including neuropathy, amputations, increased cardiovascular risks, kidney damage, cholesterol elevation and heart attacks. Neuropathy is the destruction of nerve endings, mostly in the hands and feet leading to numbness. Over time circulation may be impaired, reducing the bodys ability to heal wounds of the extremities. This circulation damage can systemic, affecting the entire arterial and venal systems. One of the most damaging diabetes side effects is to the kidneys. Over time, elevated blood sugar and insulin levels can damage kidneys beyond repair. The majority of amputations performed in all hospitals are directly related to diabetes. Diabetes so damages the circulation that even the smallest wounds can fail to heal, leading to amputations. Almost every diabetic has problems with cholesterol elevation. This is due to the diseases effect on the liver. Elevated cholesterol and diabetes is caused when the liver becomes toxic, from free radicals, and can no longer regulate cholesterol levels. Type II diabetics are also at a much higher risk for heart attacks. All of these complications can be greatly reduced or even eliminated by gaining control over blood sugar and insulin levels.
