alcohol in facial creams good or bad ?
I want to buy skin care products with Vitamin E from Body Shop/ And I read that they all contain alcohol. I heard somewhere that it's not good for your skin(mine is normal/dry)/ Is that true?
The humidity is ruining my skin? What should I do?
My skin has been crapping all over because of the enormous humidity in NYC. I mean, it's not oily, but I've never had pimples in my life...(I can swear that l never used anything for my skin and it would stay fresh and clean) but since I moved here, I've been getting those pimples out of nowhere.
l tried alcohol, l tried some weird fluid (with vitamins for your skin) I bought in the local pharmacy, yet nothing seems to help.
Do you have any suggestions?
Do you use anything to keep those annoying zits away?
l know it's not hormonal, so I don't want to use those hormones, because it's the weather.
Thank you.
My face is breaking out?
I'm breaking out right now, and I have a "thing" this Saturday, so I need to have a clear face.
I wash my face twice a day. I use warm water to open my pores and then I use cold water to close my pores. I take vitamins, and I only drink water. I also eat healthy for the most part too. My face wash/astringent/moisturizer are all alcohol and oil free. My moisturizer is fragrance-free and my face wash is noncomendogenic (I try to buy things that are good for my skin.) I wash my pillow cases every 1-2 weeks. And I plan to go out in the sun all week this week so my face will absorb some vitamin d and clear up a little.
I only have 3 pimples (but there big pimples.) So It's not like I'm trying to get rid of a face full of acne.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or anything else I need to be doing to make sure that my face is cleared up by saturday?
I also take birth control. I try my best to take it at the same time everyday because when I take it at different times I notice that it makes my face break out!
I really really really REALLY appreciate any answers!
What's the best way to lower blood pressure in a 60 year old man?
What has worked for you, loved ones or people you know?
The natural way, without prescription medication.
He has a high blood pressure of 156.
Does alcohol increase your blood pressure? What about eating pork (pig) products?
can i use COLD water as a natural toner?
i dont like using actual toners, as they irritate my skin and make it dry. i have looked for a alcohol free one but i haven't had any luck and i i cannot fine a alcohol free toner. but like i said i would prefer not to use one :) is cold water a good natural toner? will it tighten my pores? please answer :) thanks!
i have been cleansing morning and night and i use this lotion that has salicylic acid in it to dissolve dirt and excess oil after cleansing then i moisturize in the morning but only put it on my marks at night as it has a lot of vitamin E in it to help heal :) it seems to be working. but when i cleanse i use warm water to open pores then cleanse then rinse the rinse with cold water for the final rinse to close pores and tighten them, does it do that? :) am i doing the right thing? sorry its so long, but if you answer everything i've asked and need to know then i will vote you as best answer :) thanks!
Big Facial Skin Question??
1.I'm looking for a good non-comedogenic moisturizer that has an SPF and will be sensitive enough for acne skin. I heard Olay had a good one but also heard that Olay has vitamin E, which is bad for acne prone skin (It clogs it apparently); so is this true?? If so; what is a good drugstore brand that fits my requirements?
2. I'm also looking for an alcohol-free toner. I know there are lots of products out there but just keep in mind that I usually don't have great results with Neutrogena for some reason.
10 Points to best answer!!
