Why am I losing so much hair?
I am 22 years old and am losing alot of hair every day. I dont understand why it is happening... I had a son 16 months ago. I breastfed him for a year but my hair didnt start falling out until 6 months postpartum. I took prenatals while pregnant but stopped them at 3 months postpartum. My hair loss started scaring me when it hadnt slowed down around 9 months postpartum so I started taking prenatals and hair+skin+nail vitamins. It seemed to help a little. When my son turned a year old I started taking adderall xr for my adhd. I hadnt been on it for 4 years ( took it from age 8-17). Of course then I had to stop breastfeeding my son. The adderall helped greatly with my adhd but also decreased my appetite. I eat two servings of regular oatmeal (with raisins and a little honey) for breakfast, a sandwich made with cinamon raisin bread with honey+ nutella spread plus a few pieces of fruit and vegetables from from pre-made trays you get in the grocery store for lunch, and then greek yogurt with a little honey for dinner. I dont drink much during the day but its always just water. My son isnt much of an eater either so I dont eat unless he does. My hair started falling out greatly again shortly after starting the adderall. I stopped taking vitamins when I stopped breastfeeding my son. I just dont know what to do... its not like I can shove food down when Im not hungry. Also, about a month after starting the adderall, I started running 3 miles on a hiking trail with my 26-pound-son in a backpack hiking baby carrier about three days a week. Does anyone have any experience with what I am going through or any advice please help anyone. Thankyou
What else can I do to get rid of chronic back pain?
I'm more or less at my wits end. Every doctor I go to tells me that the xrays and MRI are showing nothing wrong with me and that I need to exercise.
I'm 22 years old, I shouldn't be having chronic back pain that has no apparent cause. And at very least if it were a muscle strain I'd figure that 8 months would have been plenty of time for it to heal. I'm not in that bad of shape, I walk 2 or 3 miles a day.
I have more or less written off medication as a simple mask of the problem. The problem to me isn't the pain, it's whatever is causing the pain. In a way I'd rather deal with the pain until the real problem is identified and gotten rid of so it can serve as a reminder. I'm not sure my exercising is helping any and for some reason my doctors seem to think I'm making it up or they just want to perscribe me more pain killers.
Is there anything else I can do on my own to combat back pain?
Folicure Shampoo/conditioner?
I'm 22 years old and I use to have full thick bodied hair, but now I have some bare spots showing up and my hair is thinner and not healthy looking. I bought Folicure Shampoo/conditoner and a vitamin conditioner for my hair.
*Has anyone used this product and how well does it work?
*When should I start seeing some results?
*Are there anymore good products out there for thinning/brittle hair?
What do you think of this diet? Good for weight loss?
I'm on a budget so I buy things in bulk, usually frozen, dry beans, etc. Nutrition facts are from the labels.

Random info.
I'm female, 22 years old, 5' 8", last time weighed 250lbs. :( That was 6 months ago when I had a baby. I gained a ton of weight while pregnant. I've been eating healthy since then, just way too much food, and I hate the feeling of being too full. I eat really slow to avoid that feeling. I want to make a serious life change. This isn't a "diet" to me, it's what I really would like to eat. I like "bland" food too, as in no extra dressing or sauces. I'm not a big fan of meat but I'm not against it. I'm stuck inside with my baby all day but I do go out for a couple walks daily (pushing a stroller so I can't go too fast) 30-60 minutes each. I stretch and I do squats, lunges, and pliƩ squats (I googled what they are called, site below). I usually do 20-50 at a time, of each, then walk around the house until the burn wears off. I try to do that twice a day, more if I feel like it. In a few weeks I'm going to start swimming a lot at the beach near my apartment. I also drink about a gallon of water everyday, sometimes more (I never feel sick from it). I take a prenatal vitamin and DHA/EPA combo (two separate pills) and a few fenugreek pills (I just stopped breastfeeding and had a bunch left). I reintroduced coffee, my guilty pleasure that I'm not willing to give up. I don't smoke. I would like to lose weight and just feel healthier. No set goals besides a healthy lifestyle, smaller clothes, and setting a good example for my son. :)

Vitamins make my stomach sick?
I'm 22 years old. Ever since I graduated from flinstone chewables, my stomach has always been sick from vitamins! No matter what brand of multi vitamin I buy, or what 'special type' (For women, etc..)... it always upsets my stomach.
I've tried taking the vitamin in the morning after a meal (becuase I know some vitamins need water to break down and others need fat)...I've tried taking them before the meal, I've tried this at lunch time and as well as at dinner time... No matter when I take it - what time of day or before/after a meal...it makes my stomach sick.
I have younger siblings (7, 8, and 9 years old) and last year for christmas I put Scooby Doo gummy vitamins in their stockings... I also bought a bottle for myself(forgot what brand, a popular multi vitamin brand)... These vitamins do NOT hurt my stomach at all! I can take them at any time of day and I'm completely fine.
It says for children over 12&adults chew 2 gummies a day.
Do you think that I'm still getting nutrients from these gummies? Or am i wasting my money?
***ALSO, calcium especially makes my stomach sick. All calcium supplements that I've tried. If I'm drinking and eating food with fortified calcium, am I okay in that department? I do not like milk but I buy calcium fortified orange juice and bread and pasta, and I eat yogurt almost every day. Do I need an additional suppliment?
Another weight loss question.?
Okay, so i am 22 years old, 5'6 and I went to this diet doctor to get on some medicine. Well so she said basically that i have 40 pounds to loose in 4 months, which is of course 10 pounds a month.
Well she put me on phentermine. Along with vitamins and Calcium supplements also. I have heard a lot of bad things about phentermine but i'm not worried about it for now. My main concern is, by last Thursday when i weighed in at the Doctor, i weighed 176, my goal is to get down to 140. Which i have NEVER been passed 169 in my weight loss dilemma. As of right now, a week and one day later i am back down to 169, so i have lost 7 pounds in a week. Which i'm not sure if this is good or bad? Plus now that i'm on this medication and diet whenever i work out i'm VERY weak after i work out and i'm almost sick? It's very strange.. could this be from not eating enough protein?
Someone told me this could be water weight. Which is what i'm assuming it is. But since then i haven't lost any more weight since the 7 pounds and i'm wondering if there is something i am doing wrong or if once i loose the water weight if that is just it? I don't know. Basically i have just quit with the carbs. Which has also been making me feel sick and VERY weak. I'll be okay until i work out then i'm done and can't even get back up. So what do you think? Any advice would be wonderful!
Well let me also explain, i work out every day on my lunch at work. We have a gym downstairs and i go to work out every hour monday thru friday. When i get through working out is when i feel extremely week. I believe this is from lack of protein. We're only allowed 50 Carbs a day though. No counting calories. It's basically the atkins diet on medicine.
& also, yes loosing the weight fast just happened. not that i wanted it to, but since i have, i am getting worried once this is over i will gain it back, what can i do to maybe slow this process down some?
when is the best time to start taking a brain vitamin? i'll have the licensing exam the 3 months from now?
..i'm planning to take brain vitamin"gingkobiloba"..it is advisable for my age?
...im 22 years old
Need Weight Loss Help…Complicated.?
I am seriously overweight and every method of weight loss out there,, it seems my body is resistant to it. most excersises are out of the question do to a foot deformity, my energy and metabolism are low due to a thyroid disorder, various food allergies and hypoglycemia make most diets impossible ...i take various suppliments including fishoil and every vitamin known to man, i have tried numerous diet pills with nothing but heartburn to show for it...i am 22 years old with the body if a 50 year old...not just fat but sagging, bent at the neck..i am a single mom so money and time are tight...can't spend on prepared meals or weight loss centers .i need some simple and relatively fast solutions...i am getting deperate.

variious doctors, nutrutionists have been unable to find me a plan that was practical (no elaborate food preparation 3 times a day) that was tolerable and did not include foods that woudl aggrivate my allergies (dairy, wheat and all wheat-like grains, soy, yeast) or my hypoglycemia.
the eat less part is not helpful with my hypoglycemia.
