Severe stress in my opinion causes severe & dramatic weight loss, every time I have experienced horrific and stressful times I can’t eat, and my body (mentally and physically) shuts down, dropping up to 2 stone in weight in a matter of weeks! I really don’t get how people could eat ‘too much’ if under actual and severe stress. There isn’t enough help out there for people who have experienced dramatic weight loss through traumatic events. Real ‘stress’ = eating, hmmm, I doubt it somehow….
