somebody please help me with this weight loss question, im so confused?
okay, im desperate to lose weight. im taking vitamins, drinking only water, and eating only 1200 calories a day. im 280 pounds and 17 year old girl. i have been jogging 10 to 20 miles every day for 2 weeks. ive only lost 0.4 pounds. i know weight loss is slow and hard work, but this is ridiculous. my sister lost 5 pounds by jogging 2 miles a day and eating 1800 >_> i dont understand why i havent lost weight. please help me.

go to your doctor. you might have that much weight due to another health issue.

I lost 40 pounds in 6 months. what i did: Don’t think about it so much, and be patient. Don’t count calories.. eat 6 times a day with small portions and NO junk food. and no sodas just water. If this doesn’t work.. go to the doctor and check your thyroid gland. it is possible to have HypoThyroid. I had it thats why i wasn’t losing wait. its not a big deal just a hormone inbalance.

I have lost 40 lbs. in 3 months and I know this will work. Eat small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, eat your last meal 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. Do not starve yourself or your body will go into survival mode where anything you eat will be turned into FAT. This will help you a lot but if you want more results you can exercise 3-4 days a week, include weight training and especially cardio (walking especially running). If you set your mind to lose the weight you will lose it and when you start seeing how good you look you’ll want to keep going.
