  1. Ascorbic acid: This is vitamin C.
Cellulose: This is used as a thickener and bulker, to make the pills larger
Magnesium stearate and Steric acid: So the pill hardens and doesn’t crumble
Silicon dioxide: also known as sand or quartz, used as a bulker.
SLS: Used to break down the water tension so the pill is easier to chew/dissolves quicker.
Others: mainly colours and maybe flavours.

You’ve got a perfectly normal pill there, don’t get conned that one pill is better than another.

  2. No, you shouldn’t be worried but if you want a higher quality vitamin, you’ll probably have to go to a health food store and really read the ingredients good next time.

  3. Yes I would be worried if the label said all this stuff was in my Vitamin C. I use Super C Vitamin C crystals from For Mor International. Their Super C is made with Sodium Ascorbate, which is a Bio Chemical Sodium, which is what the stomach needs to help digest Vitamin C.. Ascorbic acid is very hard to digest and that is why you have to take so much Vitamin C in order to get any benefit from it. If you would like more information about Super C email me at bfredr1824@gmail.com
