Skin help! Please HELP!?
Okay so my skin routine is as follows:
Best bath store acne facial bar
After steaming apply tea tree oil, and then apply cold water to close pores
Dickinson's witch hazel toner
I recently just started this, I have used the products separately before but started to add them as a routine! How long will it take for results? And will I even see results? Any suggestions? Please help. I have oily skin and have random mild breakouts just on my cheeks! It's not absolutely terrible, but enough to get on my nerves. Ohh, and I have light spots on one cheek due to prior blemishes.
Any products you've tried and worked well please inform me! But please no proactive, or expensive procedure answers even if they might've worked for you.
Any good vitamins you would recommend to take? I've heard vitamin A, zinc, omega 3 are good?
Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

4% gylcolic acid in face creams will help clear them up. It really works. NeoStrata has one.

Seems like a good routine. Remember just because it doesn’t work for a few days, doesn’t mean it’s not working. It takes some time and being consistent. However, if you’re desperate, I do the following (it’s cheap):
I take baking soda and put a few drops of water to make a paste and apply it to the pimple area. Let it dry like a mask. Takes red out and doing it a couple of times a week really helps.
You should take flaxseed oil or borage oil (very good for skin) and don’t stop in like 2 weeks, supplements have to build up in your body and you need to take them consistently. I get organic flaxseed oil from my walmart, it’s like 5-6 bucks. Good luck.

Any skin regimen is going to take at least a month to see any effects, and most will take 6-8 weeks. Are you doing this on a daily basis, or 1-2 times a week? Something as strong as tea tree oil could have negative effects if used daily. When your skin gets dry it produces oil, the drier it gets, the more oil it will produce. Also, spots will only fade with time, a lot of time. You can speed up the process a bit with retinols, but they are not a miracle cure.
I, like you, have oily skin, moderate breakouts and spots due to prior blemishes. this is what I have been using for the past two months and have gotten amazing results:
Morning:
Wash with Philosophy microdelivery exfoliating wash every other day, and Neutrogena stress relief with salicylic acid on the other days.
Apply Philosophy protection cream (unfortunately discontinued) and sunscreen with at least a 30 spf.
Use only non-comedogenic make up (Neutrogena is an inexpensive choice)
Night:
Wash with a sulfur wash (Philosophy used to carry one, but has since discontinued). I’ve had a hard time finding an over the counter product, but you can definitely get one from your dermatologist.
Apply salicylic acid to t-zone
Apply Philosophy Save Me Retinol and Vitamin C serum all over (pricey, but so far one of the best investments I have ever made for my skin)
