SHOULDER PAIN: Stuck AC Joint Part I
Jerry Hesch applies Hesch Method to chronic shoulder pain/ impingement: this is an atypical impingement that was not inside the shoulder joint, but above it and medially in the acromioclavicular joint. the acromion is part of the scapula, and the scapula was stuck in elevation and protraction causing a faulty axis of motion in the a/c joint. His symptoms were primarily sharp pain in front of clavice espeially when lifting arms over the head, soreness and stiffness in trapezius muscle, midline lumbar back pain. treatment took less than 5 minutes, and Jerry taught him what to do to maintain the correction. The injury took place 7 years prior during motor vehicle accident. Patient had x-rays and Orthopedic consults in the interim without resolution. A month post-treatment, shoulder was asymptomtic for the first time in 7 years and back ain was significantly improved.
