The pine nuts seem awkward to me on paper. Do they go well with the rest of the dish?

Jennifer, you need to have a show on Food Network that replaces that Paula “y’all” monster Deen.

Lemon juice does remove some nutirents. It also removes some of the oxalates, as kale is high in oxalats.
Still a good recipie. What did ppl do before you tube.

They compliment the green flavor in my openion. Foods do that when you put them together. A perfect example of that is Chinese sauces. Ever tried teriyaki sauce on its own? yuk, but on chicken, with the right oils, its heaven.

I can’t believe I had never heard of this amazing cook before last night. This lady has better recipes than half the “raw gurus” I’ve seen on YouTube! I can’t wait to try this salad.

She mentioned her video about raw food (I guess vegan) sushi but I am having hard time finding it. Can someone post a “link” to it? Thks.

You have blessed me tonight with 2 WONDERFUL recipes! I have tasted kale in raw food restaurants and loved the taste. But when I tried to make it at home, it paled in comparison. Your instruction in this video provides the missing link for how I can improve my methods. Also, I LOVED the zucchini pasta recipe as well. Oh, gosh! Please, keep it up. I need more recipes. Thanks.

I just tried this kale salad, and it is fantastic! Since I didn’t have the exact portions, I wasn’t sure how much lemon juice to add, so I added a bit much I believe, but it made the kale not only edible but very tasty also.

Lemon oil and salt are great with any greens. Add some garlic, cumin and avocados and you have an AMAZING salad :D

I was shocked at how good this is! I just made it for lunch and ate every bit of it! I had all the ingredients on hand too. Today was my second day eating raw and I tasted the raw kale yesterday and I thought – oh no! This is horrid! But I liked the salad here even better than a lettuce salad. Seriously more mouthfeel and flavor. I used curly kale and just rolled it up as best I could. A lot of it came out just finely chopped. Tasted NOTHING like raw. EXCELLENT RECIPE!
