Pimples? How to get rid of them and cover them up as best as possible while they're still there?
Hi guys, so i'm 15 and i have pimples. they're not that horrible, but pretty bad, but not like severe case. i was wondering how you could get rid of them, i've tried pretty much everything. so please dont suggest proactive or dermalogica. i heard vitamin d oil works if you put it on overnight every night for a couple weeks, does it work?
and the second part of my question is, which foundation is best to cover them up? don't tell me to leave them w/out makeup, b/c that's not an option. does dream matte mousse work well? i wanted to try it, but idk. i have oily skin but sometimes it's dry, and i have large pores, so would dream matte mousse work? thanks in advance :)
sorry, i should've specified earlier, but my budget's not that bit and the Benefit stuff is like 34$ per thing so, anything cheap?

To get ride of them you can a)Asprin mask works(no cover on it) b)Take a Q-tip and put peroxide on it (AFTER you wash your face) c)when you wash your face instead of goin downwards go upwards
Foundation: Hmm I use mineral so I don’t really know.

The dream matte mousse just made my skin really oily and made my acne worse. I find that for me, I just use baby wipes to take the make up off of my skin at night and I use tea tree oil moisterizer from the body shop. It feels fresh, and it really helps my acne.
I also find that using a chamomile or green tea tea bag definitely helps with the redness of the pimples. Just warm it up in water, but be careful not to burn your skin.
My favorite concealer is Erase Paste by Benefit!

You can also use toothpaste before bed and in the morning face powder (Bare Minerals) covers up pretty good.

I had pretty bad acne at your age (I’m 28 now) and honestly the BEST thing you can do is visit your doctor! Over-the-counter solutions (yes that includes Proactiv and Dermalogica) are just marketing hype and don’t contain ingredients to combat anything more than mild acne. Basically the stronger acne medications (ie ones for moderate to severe acne) are only allowed to be prescribed by a doctor. Please do it, you’ll save so much money spent on products that don’t work and a lot of worry and stress.
Regarding products, it’s best to stick with a good concealer just where you need it, rather than piling foundation all over your face. MAC Studio Finish concealer is wonderful – it covers pretty much anything and has good lasting power on oily skin so you don’t have to worry about it coming off during the day.
Good luck, sweetie :-)
