@XcellentFitness Let me start of by saying those were great results! But I have some questions that I hope you can answer.
1) Which routine did you do Classic, Doubles, or Lean?
2)At what times did you work out?
3)Did you follow the P90X nutrition guide or did you have your own plan?
This is my final question and your answer would help. Ok so I eat at 4:10 P.M then I work out like at 5:30 P.M and finish at 7:00 P.M, is it ok to eat after I work out cause I heard dont eat after 7.

Did you take any beginning videos? Because in all of these you already look like you’re in good shape. Also, I’m 15 and starting P90X with my dad after Spring Break.
1. Is it bad to do p90x with someone?
2. Do you think it’d be okay to do a different diet that the P90x one? I’m doing weight watchers and have lost weight from that, but I don’t know if I’m getting enough energy or protein (Hahaa Idk.) .
I’m 5’9 174 pounds and NERVOUS.

OMG what an inspiration! I don’t even know you and I am so proud of you. This is amazing. I just researched P90X tonight for the first time ever and wanted to see people’s “results”. Well….You’ve shown them to me. I’m going to order this for my husband and hopefully I can do it as well. It looks extremely hard.

@TheONEmanShow12 I started shooting the video clips at about Day 70 or so – up until then I had only taken progress photos. I think it’s better to do P90X with someone – it helps to have an “accountability partner” for sure. I didn’t follow the P90X diet – my diet is listed entirely on my website, xcellentfitness . com – it’s not that the P90X doesn’t work – it just didn’t fit my lifestyle.

@Mistic2kx i think they say not to eat after seven is because thats around the time our body starts to slow down. if we eat when our body and metabolisim starts to slow down the workouts wont be as affective, since your body isnt as much into energy, and more into fat

@Mrsingingdude1 Yeah but at the same time I finish working out at 7 and I was reading that you should eat after you work-out because this is known as the “Golden Hour”, that’s when your muscles open up to all the nutrients but if the metabolisim starts to slow down then well…… I’m pretty much confused.

I’ve heard of P90X but I don’t think it’s for me, what does this work out offer that regular trips to the gym doesn’t? If you want to get really jacked, you have to hit the weights, this is more to lose weight and get cut…although all the kicks and stuff look pretty cool, I’d like to be able to do some of those to improve foot work etc.

In response to MrCRPhillips “Think “P90X” Is Crazy Check Out “Bar Tendaz”"
I watched it. If you are looking to showboat at the park and otherwise pimp yourself out on YouTube, then I agree that Bar Tendaz is “crazy.” However, if you look at their legs, they would probably get tired walking a few blocks. Excluding P90X’s marketing, the workouts focus on a wholistic approach, working the whole body, not just the upper body. Ask yourself, “Would rather be a dragster or a Formula 1 race car?”
