I don’t know your age but I am listing a general outline for you. When you buy the Vitamin b12 look for the sublingual type because it is so much better for you. One of the most important supplements if you are not eating a well balanced diet is Calcium. You should look for the calcium with Vitamin D in the calcium because this is the way that calcium is absorbed by your body.

Vitamins and nutritional supplements are not regulated so quality is an issue from what I understand.
I take glucosamine/chondroitin for joints and find that it does help. A pharmacist said that it does work, but they can’t say so officially because they don’t know from a clinical standpoint.
Fish oil is popular. I wouldn’t load up on vitamins because you just might be wasting your money. Are you going to be able to take all of them on a regular basis?

Think of vitamins as nutritional insurance and nothing more… What you “need” to take depends largely on your activity level. Someone who eats well but is not very active could likely get buy with little to no additional supplementation. If you take that same person and lets say they bodybuild.. Not lift weights.. Body build then there nutritional requirements may warrant supplementing.
First and foremost try and get all you need nutritionally from your diet..
