After News 8 aired a story on a simple water diet created by a Texan who shed 70 pounds in seven months, responses poured in questioning if it really works.

  5. Be careful of water intoxication! “It is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by over-consumption of water.”

  6. Not necessarily – your body can sense an increased presence of sodium and you get thirsty so that you will drink water and dilute the concentration of sodium (salt).

    Hungers just the lack of anything digesting.

  11. This video is so true 100% – I have been drinking nothing but water for the past 17 days & feel so much better. I drink 150 oz. w/a splash of lemon juice daily. I am not bloated, crave for sugar & I feel great! I also lost 3 pounds in 17 days. Just woke up one morning & said no more pop & I did! It isn’t that hard if you put a little lemon juice in with the water.

I am not bloated, crave for sugar & I feel great! I also lost 3 pounds in 17 days. Just woke up one morning & said no more pop & I did!   13. Yes you do go pee alot, but that is good for you to get all that crap out of your body. you do eat healthy foods, water is not part of the unhealthy foods. I feel great & it is the best decision I made in my life time! I can wear a pair of jeans & not look pg anymore! Want to live longer & feel healthier? Drink lots of water!! good luck! :)
