My bangs are dried and bent and straw like…?

I have tried leaving in moisturizers over night. I have stopped coloring my hair. I have been taking vitamins. I have stopped using styling products. But even the hairs that have never been treated are doing this too. I don't use a curling iron, only a hair dryer. This is embarrassing and I almost bought a wig yesterday, but they looked too wiggy. I hate my natural color and want to go back to highlighting my hair but I am afraid of damaging my bangs even more. Please help.

  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You have crusty bangs!!

  2. Once hair is damaged, it’s damaged, and hairdryers do just as much damage as any other styling iron in the long run. I suggest you grow them out and then have them cut again if you like. But you might just like them long.

    Good luck.

  3. You need a deep conditioning protein treatment like Aphogee. It smells horrible but you need to return the ph balance to your hair and rebuild it’s structure. Even with using a hair dryer you strip your hair of natural oils and you’re doing nothing to rebuild your hair structure or add moisture. You also need to rethink your styling routine if it’s damaging your hair. Try curly styles, etc. and until your hair is healthy again any chemical process will cause futher damage. The only option you have now if you can’t take the color is a semi-permanent or demi-permanent color.

  4. Go to a salon and have them fix it for you. They are professionals. Do you drink any water?

  5. Don’t color it!!! I have done it many times and my hair looked horrible so I stopped. I would use herbal Essences moisturizing shampoo and conditioner!! They work great and keep taking Biotin and any other vitamins. Also go see a hair stylist about your bangs and hair they always know what to do!!

  6. Snip off as much as you can without looking silly and then wear a head band until you can cut a little more off, then a little more and so on. Do this with the rest of your hair as well. Deep condition once a week and condition your hair every day. Only shampoo once a week. The conditioner will get rid of a days worth of dirt. It’s much healthier for your hair this way. Good luck!
