Is this amount of B12 safe to take daily?
I am looking for a vegan vitamin supplement. I have found this one brand called DEVA Vegan Multivitamin.

Most of the vitamin percentages seem fine, but the B12 says it has 1666% !!!
There are a few other percentages that seem a little high too.
Is this safe?

You can usually handle excess B vitamins just fine — you’ll simply excrete what you don’t need. I think B6 is the sole exception where you can have some numbness in the extremities if you go too high, but that vitamin is still way below the point where it would occur.
Iron is the main one to watch for, since your body *can’t* get rid of excess and it can go toxic — it’s the one that ultimately kills kids who swallow lots of vitamins thinking they’re candy.
In looking at that vitamin, my own main concerns would be (1) if the quality in general is up to par, and (2) low calcium and magnesium means you’ll need those separately in addition, but that’s pretty normal for all multivitamins — they don’t have space to get all those in as well.

vitamin B & C are water soluble. therefore, any excess you should just pee out.
You mainly have to worry about fat soluble vitamins in excess (ADEK)
