Is there a vitamin deficiency that causes leg pain?

My legs have been hurting for 9 months or so and my doctor doesn't know what's going on (or doesn't care). I've noticed that when I take a certain multi-vitamin, my leg pain goes away, but when I take a prenatal vitamin, my leg pain returns. Is there a vitamin that I might be deficient in? I would love to know since the vitamin that gets rid of the pain KILLS my stomach.

  1. Leg pain can be caused by deficiency of vitamin D, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, iron and low electrolytes – potassium, sodium, calcium, or magnesium. Your stomach pain may be due to the iron. You could try spirulina supplements which is a rich natural source of iron, the highest source of vitamin B12 and beta carotene, contains electrolytes and smaller amounts of vitamin B6, vitamin B3, biotin, vitamin B5, folic acid, inositol and Vitamin E. There is also sublingual (under the tongue) vitamin and mineral sprays.
