Is there a natural method to keep blood pressure in a normal range?
I'm male, 78, in good health, not overweight. My MD has me on 3 pills to control blood pressure. I'm hoping there is a natural method to do this...I really don't like taking pills! My cholesterol numbers are good, I don't eat fatty food, lots of veggies and I exercise daily. Haven't a clue as to why my pressure is high.

You may want to try yoga! Reducing stress will always lower your blood pressure. Deep diaphragmatic breathing can help. Frequent exercise and aerobic workouts can lower your blood pressure too. Oh yea, cut down on caffeine too, it’s a stimulant and will definitely give you high blood pressure. If you have a physical syndrome that gives you high blood pressure, then medication may be the only way.
Always ask your doctor if you are healthy enough for physical activity, even yoga. And also inform him of any changes you make in your behavior, diet, and lifestyle.

Yeah you can intake more water to help blood flow, stop eating things with high amounts of sodium, reduce your stress by reading a book or meditating, and NO COFFEE!
Other than that some people just have genetically high blood pressure.

My 74 year old mother-in-law drinks Himalayan Goji Juice, an all natural supplement – and her physician has been reducing the amount of blood pressure meds that she has to take. She’s got her fingers crossed that she can discontinue them altogether.
