Is it safe to take prenatal vitamins for hair growth?
I am 16 years old and I heard that my hair would grow if I took prenatal vitamins, I am not pregnant. I did some research over it and I found out that I could overdose on vitamins because I'm getting 2 times the amount I need. So, would it be okay to keep taking them or should I try another vitamin that's actually for hair growth?

They are perfectly fine to take as long as you are not taking any other form of vitamin. It is something that you should discuss with your doctor first, just in case there are other medications or medical conditions that you might have.

Its better safe than sorry.
I would suggest taking hair ointment? No risks involved and its been working pretty well for my mum :)

If they were that dangerous they wouldn’t give them to pregnant women, now would they? You can always get some other type of vitamin good for hair growth if you are worried.

There are certain vitamins that help promote the growth of hair in the body. Changing to a healthier diet is vital not only for hair growth but also for the general well being of your body.
Some of the most important include:
- Essential Fatty Acids
- The B Vitamins
- Antioxidants
- Sulfur
- Zinc
But vitamins and diet are only one part of it, you should also consider adding excercise and hair loss products into your hair growth solution.
There’s more detail regarding the vitamins and the hair growth stategy in the source link below:

Some vitamins such as Vitamin A and E are lipid soluble. If you take too much of these vitamins, it will deposit your your body and cause toxicity.
As someone suggests, it might be safer to take topical treatment. You can try Bawang Anti-fall and Renewal Shampoo. A number of friends have used the product and told me it prevents hairs from falling and makes the hair thicker.
I have also seen the following video from YouTube. The product looks quite promising.

The product contains Chinese herbs extracts which can restrain and balance the sebum, nourish hair follicles, strengthen the hair root to make hair stronger and prevent hair loss. Bawang is not available in all countries. You can find it at the ebay or oasisherb.
