Is it safe to take a multivitamin and a B-Complex vit?

Hi, I studied up on all of the individual vitamins and recommended intake but I want to know from actual people - is it okay if I take a multivitamin and a Super B-Complex? The multivitamin has almost all of the B vitamins but in lower doses. I'm 16, healthy, and not knowingly allergic to anything.

Multivitamin | Super B Complex
Thiamin 1.5 mg | 100 mg
Riboflavin 1.7 mg | 20 mg
Niacin 20 mg | 25 mg
B6 2mg | 2mg
Folic Acid 500 mcg | 400 mcg
B12 6mcg | 15 mcg
Pantothenic Acid 10 mcg | 5.5 mg

(I apologize for the double post)

  1. Although that is quite OK it is really not necessary to take the Super B Complex in addition to the multivitamin.

  2. At your young age I would discourage the use of a lot of vitamins. A multivitamin would be preferred.

  3. I would suggest just taking One-A-Day Teen Advantage or just any One-A-Day brand of multivitamin.
