Is it possible to be addicted to vitamins?


i take chewable vitamins (like the kid ones...hehe) and i feel like i always want them. whenever i see the bottle, i really want to take one....be the end of the day i have taken about 2 or 3.

is this really unhealthy or is it safe
i try other vitamins but they dont satisfy me like these ones do.

  1. yes it is possible to be addicted to vitamins. to many vitamins can hurt you kidneys. vitamins only give your body what it could not get from normal food so when you don’t eat oranges and fiber then you use a vitamin to supply you with it. your body dose not need 1000% of any vitamin that just means that you will get 100% of the daily value and the rest 900% will get thrown out. Your kidneys and liver act as a filtration so vitamins can clog those filters causing serious damage. if you are peeing something that looks like Yellow Gatorade or neon yellow stop taking the vitamins immediately. drink lots of water when you drink your vitamins up to two galsse for ever 2 pills this will help dilute the vitamin and reduce the shock on your system.

  2. 2 or 3 is OK but two many is very bad for you ,the food you eat daily has plenty of V——-S

  3. 2 to 3 vitamins a day is what you are supposed to take, but yes i hear you. whenever i see the bottle of those yummy vitamins i want more too! but i keep myself from taking more. I don’t think that like 5-6 would be like horrible for you, but definately not good. try and stick with 2-3 a day. good luck!

    but i like takin those vitamins as well
    but i just like the taste of them and the feel of them in my mouth
    i dont realli know if i am addicted to them
    but dont take too many coz they are dangerous if u
    take an overdose
    xxx
