Is it okay to not take a daily vitamin while taking birth control?

I am on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo birth control and when I got them the doc gave me vitamins they're called Daily-Vite daily multiple vitamin supplement (compared to one-a-day essential) with them and said to take one everyday with my birth control. And I dont ever take them...like ever. Is this okay?

ur doctor told u to for a reason. u’ll be ok, but it’ll be better for ur health if u do take them. it could affect ur health in ways u never knew it could. might mess with ur "levels". ur balance.
