It makes no big diff, and is okay. A fruit and fiber snack, or muffin is best. Don’t take raw sugar – expect a crash.

Candy will affect your blood sugar level, not your blood pressure. If you are feeling light headed due to low blood sugar on a regular basis, you need to get it confirmed by the doctor. Chronic low blood sugar can be a sign of other problems, even diabetes in some cases. If it really is blood pressure, then eating candy isn’t going to help you. So I guess the first thing you need to know is whether it is your blood sugar or your blood pressure causing the problem. Ideally, you don’t treat low blood sugar with candy, unless you are diabetic an it is an emergency. This is because it causes a blood sugar spike, which makes you feel better at first, but then you crash worse than ever a bit later. Something with some protein, like peanut butter crackers, are a better choice.

Chocolate is made from plants, which means it contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. Dark chocolate is good for your heart. A small bar of it everyday can help keep your heart and cardiovascular system running well. For lower blood pressure, studies have shown that consuming a small bar of dark chocolate everyday can reduce blood pressure in individuals with high blood pressure. So, don’t take too much but taking a acceptable amount of chocolate will benefit you to a certain extent.
