Is it bad to drink ice tea with vitamins instead of water?

Some of the vitamins I have say to drink with a full glass of water. I take them with ice tea, is that a bad idea?
I make the ice tea myself from tea bags and I don't use any sugar. I don't drink soda at all. I just don't like the taste of the vitamins so take them with the plain tea to cover their taste.

  1. no. that is fine, whatever washes it down, but to be healthy, and I am sure that is your reasoning for taking vitamins in the first place, you will want to drink a good amount of water throughout the day. they say 8 8oz glasses. You need to stay hydrated, and the body is made up of mostly water, so you need to put in a good amount each day..

  2. You’re far better off with plain water. Reserve the tea as an ‘extra’ beverage, in place of sodas or ‘pop’ = even better! Good luck! :)

  3. Caffeine hinders the absorption of iron. But otherwise it shouldn’t make any difference. And there is something else that needs caffeine to be absorbed but I can’t think of what it is right at this moment. I’ll add it if I remember.
***Oh yes it’s when you take ibuprofen for pain killers. I bought a tub of it so that I got it cheaper than the marketed type like neurofen and you apparently need caffeine with it to work properly.

  4. I don’t know Taglo, I’ll answer your question in the same manner you answered an immigration question earlier…Only if your an Indian from India. racist much…
