  1. Vitamins are normally just to top off the nutrients you can’t intake by eating food. And there shouldn’t be any harm in taking the womens one a day. But sometimes womens vitamins have a couple different things that can slow testosterone production and increase estrogen production. That’s really the only you wouldn’t want to take it (and normally that’s not even a rational concern with those type of vitamins). I would just tell her to buy you some vitamins that are made more for you like mens one a day. They aren’t that expensive.

But to answer your question directly, no there is no physical harm that will come from taking them. it’s just made with different amounts of different vitamins that suit a woman’s needs more than a man’s. Men and women have different organs and different needs.

You’ll still get a lot of good vitamins taking them but they aren’t giving you as good of a balance of vitamins for a guy Than the mens One a day would.

(PS: Flaxseed oil helps the body increase testosterone production and lower estrogen production in males if you’re actually worried about that (I wouldn’t be though, it’s kinda irrational))

  2. just eat healthy, you don’t need all those vitamins…

  3. no, there’s nothing wrong with it.

expect to get made fun of, though.

  4. im not sure

  5. It’s only bad if it’s womyn’s vitamyn.

  6. woman and man’s vitamins just have a slightly different amount of the various types of vitamins in them. Theres nothing wrong with taking a woman’s vitamin, just make sure you are still eating well. In general, if you eat well you dont need a vitamin at all

  7. No, they are the same but I imagine a few more vitamins for "Woman’s health". Not really necessary but it won’t do any harm….

  8. there is nothing wrong with that at all
there is only a little difference in them nothing that will be bad
    its better then taking none
    :)
    cheers

  9. Its not really bad, but men and women have different nutritional needs. Men do not need as much iron as a woman, for example. What a cheapskate. Generic vitamins are not that expensive.

  10. your estrogen level will get higher

  11. no. there is no hormones in vitamins. the difference is in the amounts of each mineral. for example the womens vitamins would have a higher amount of calcium and i believe iron. no harm here.

  12. First of all, there is NO estrogen in a multi-vitamin. There is more Iron and Folic acid in womens vitamins, but nothing that will hurt you – you will be fine. But you are missing some of the mens vitamins that help with like the prostrate, but I am sure you are too young to worry about that right now.

  13. The main difference would be the iron level. Men’s vitamins don’t usually contain any or a small amount. Guys can’t rid of excess iron since they do not menstruate. Too much iron can lead to fatigue, joint pain and heart problems. European men are more prone to this. If it is a teenage boy, a multivitamin should contain zinc as the body uses zinc to make testosterone.
