Is eating a lot of good food bad for your weight?
When you have extra energy and nutrients I think it is stored as fat. Recently I bought premium multi-vitamins, and have been eating really healthy, but I get hungry a lot because i used to eat a lot before but was never fat. Now I eat a lot of good food instead of bad food also with the multivitamins, for example, after school I ate some baked beans, yogurt, cheese, and a whole wheat bagel yet I am still hungry. Does this mean I will be storing a lot of extra nutrients as fat now? I work out often about 3-4 times a week which might explain some of the reason i am hungry a lot.

You’re hungrier because you are working out. Even if you’re trying to lose weight, on days that you workout, you want to account for that time by eating a few more calories. Usually 300-400 calories per day. Even on days you’re not working out, your muscles are trying to repair themselves, so your body still needs more energy than usual.
If you keep working out and are consuming more calories, it’s okay, as long as those calories are healthy and balanced between proteins, carbs, and yes fats too.
You can actually lose weight even if you are eating more calories per day.

Eating too much of anything is bad for you. everything in moderation. I don’t know what you do when you work out or how old you are, but you could have a really high metabolism rate which burns up quickly. Increase your protein. Eat egg whites and skinless chicken. Baked beans have sugar and so does yogurt. Dairy products can be fattening and a bagel is loaded with carbs. Try more protein. That will curb your appetite.

yes i agree with the first poster. eating more food, whether healthy or bad will put weight on you unless you burn off more calories that you are taking in.

If you eat alot, you gain alot, dosnt matter if its healthy food or junk food. Your after school snack was a 1,000 calories. If you snack like that and eat 3 meals a day you will become a chubo.
