is CASTOR OIL risky?? help…?

ive heard various instances where castor oil helps grow and thicken eyelashes (& eyebrows)....well on one site i read various reviews saying it does the opposite effect....SO WHICH IS RIGHT? does it thicken them or not? i need to naturally hide my uglyness without wearing gunk everyday (aka makeup)..
if castor oil doesn't work, do any of these things:
emu oil, vitamin e oil, folligen cream, copper peptide (where do you buy that local?)...etc?

  1. well…i don’t have eyebrow problems but i do naturally nourish and thicken my eyebrows with vitamin e oil straight from the capsule. it does work if you keep up with this treatment daily. as for lashes, why don’t you try applying a light touch of Vaseline petroleum jelly on them? you can even use Vaseline on your lashes like mascara and in no time, you’ll see them naturally darker and longer because Vaseline is a form of lubricant. yes, castor oil is risky and can cause blindness if applied on the eyebrows and lashes. for your brows and lashes, just either stick to natural remedies like Vaseline, vitamin e oil or olive oil. take your pick.

  2. i wouldn’t risk it. i now i’ve heard of beauty products that claim they thicken and grow eyelashes(not makeup). google it and see what you can find. good luck

  3. uh castor oil is poisnonous. it’s oil from the most poisonous plant on earth. (looked in guiness book of world records 2002) so dont bother trying.
