Is a living will a good thing and directions be given for vitamins to be allowed if in the hospital etc?
Can a patient have instructions be put in a living will to be that they be allowed to take vitamin c,garlic, and other nutrition vitamins in hospital or under a m.d. doctors orders?

You would probably get a more accurate response in a legal section or asking a lawyer. I personally don’t think it would be a problem, as a living will is a legal document and I think most hospitals would abide by it as long as it wasn’t illegal to start with….. but I would check with a lawyer to be on the safe side. Good luck!

You can put anything you want in a living will. But, it will only matter if your doc/hosp hasa copy. Until your poa gets there with the ORIGINAL COPY, the docs are required to do what they think is medically best. A living will or poa only becomes effective if you are not able to make those decisions yourself.
I would say that you need to speak to a doc and a lawyer in making your will and poa.
