indoor tanning without lotion?

i'm new to indoor tanning and i've been tanning for about 1-2 months now. i have a little bit of a base tan. i'm out of lotion so i bought some online beacuse it is considerably cheaper. anyways, i was wondering if it would be okay for me to tan without lotion a couple of times? my lotion isn't going to be here for atleast 2 weeks and i don't want my base tan to fade (i have fair-ish skin so getting a base tan was hard for me)

i know that tanning without lotion isn't good for your skin because it dries it out and it doesn't last as long, so if anything can i just use non tanning regular non sented lotion with vitamin e before and after i tan to keep it moisturized? or should i just go to a drug store and buy outdoor tanning lotion?

thanks so much to anybody who answers! :)
i bought some lotion from amazon, do you think it's fake?
it says it distributes from tanning salons

  1. Do they sell lotion at the tanning salon you tan at? If so, they probably sell sample lotion that you could use until your lotion comes in…

  2. just use regular moisturizer untill your tanning lotion shows up. but know that tanning lotion companies like designer skin do NOT sell their products to online distributors.. so what your buying probably isnt the real deal. anyway, please make sure that if you do choose to buy an outdoor tanning lotion, you dont get an oil. it damages bed acrilics, its a major slipping hazord once you get any on the floor or even on your feet, not to mention a law suit waiting to happen.

yes i think its fake. tanning salons buy their lotions from companies like four seasons, who market products like designer skin and california tan. salons dont sell to amazon, salons sell to their customers in the store.
