If I never drink milk, what other ways can I get calcium and vitamin C?

I never ever drink milk and I know that is not good since it keeps your bones strong and healthy. So what are other ways I can get vitamin C instead of drinking milk?

  1. Cheese and other dairy products like yogurt. Or just take calcium supplements and vitamin c supplements. :)

  2. u cud just buy the vitamin suplements in drug stores or eat alternate dairy products and i heard broccoli has a lot of calcium

  3. You should buy a 1000mg of calcium pills and same with vitamin C!

  4. Milk is a good source of protein (the others are meat and eggs), but not a great source of calcium. You actually get more calcium from veggies than milk, and it’s best to take pills for a reliable source. I find that my teeth feel much better if I take 3,000 mg per day, three times the suggested dose, but you have to figure that out for yourself. You should get the pills that also have vitamin D. If you can get some that also have magnesium that is good too.

Here are some nice books about this subject:

  5. Vegetables and fruits are good sources of Calcium and vitamin C, though you need to have vitamin D to absorb these dietary calcium. Exposure to early morning sun is a source of vitamin D.

Fishes, especially those eaten with the bones have high calcium content, too. Seafood have calcium content. Others are grains, seeds, tofu, sprouts, etc. (Almost all all foods have calcium).

If you think you are still not getting the right amount of calcium, you can even take calcium carbonate like Tums or ascorbic acid (Cecon) for vitamin C.

  6. Dairy is completely unnecessary. The dairy industry wants you to think you will die of osteoporosis if you avoid milk.
You can get plenty of calcium from bread, vegetables, beans.
Cheese should be a delicacy, not a cornerstone of your diet.

  7. Surprisingly, you can get more calcium in broccli and other fruits and veggies then you can get in dairy! Also take calcium pills.
