-take multivitamins
-try not to straighten your hair/curl it as often (heat will make your ends break, and therefore will not grow]
-get a trim once a month [half an inch]
-eat foods with high iron and protein [leafy greens, beans, meats, and milk products]
-try using AG Fast Food leave-in-conditioner… it works great
good luck! :)

just give it time and dont obsess about it
if you wait, it will grow…
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
get it trimmed regularly or extensions
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
you need to cut your hair about an inch off every month or so, that way you can get rid of the dead ends and your hair grows faster. your hair cant grow if it has dead ends… most people have dead ends because they brush their hair… so just cut your hair and it should grow
dont take any pills, you never know what they put in them. and its not healthy

there are some hair growth pills at GNC which help your hair and nails grow faster and stronger. it’s just really concentrated vitamins like B and protein which contribute to building hair and nails. eat lots of fresh veggies and meat as well as daily vitamins.
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
yeah if you go to a health food store and ask for something, they have some really good natural pills. natural is better than man made, but if thats all you can get, go for it
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
don’t flat iron / curl your hair when not necessary. also, don’t use too much hairspray / mousse, it makes it even slower.
honestly, the fastest way from my own, AND a lot of girls I know expirience, just let it grow out. :) And also, get a trim every so often to take off all the dead hairs, so it grows faster.
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
Keep it trimmed.
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
My first suggestion would be to not change shampoo often .so stick with one for like 3 months or so
or get extensions .. ( witch i wouldnt recommend .. )

i have been looking online a lot for an answer to this question. the easiest way without paying a ridiculous amount of money for pills is to have a high protein diet. there is no silver bullet but this will keep your hair healthy.

Nothing really makes hair grow faster, and everyone’s hair grows differently On average, hair grows at about 1/2 inch rate per month.
No types of shampoo or conditioner will work to make your hair grow longer (believe me, when I had horrible bangs, I tried) but there are ways to make it grow *stronger*.
The stronger the hair, the better off it will be, and the less trims you’ll need. Try taking flax seed supplements and foods rich in B vitamins. You can also try trimming your hair every other month (that way it was a clean end to it, less splittage, which can stunt growth).
Good luck~

Drink a lot of water. I know that sounds random, but it’s true.
And Vitamin A is the best to take to promote hair growth.

prenatal vitamins really help out alot and you can take them even if you are not pregnant!

Try tying a heavy weight to the ends of your hair, then hang upside down from a tree branch, and let gravity pull it down faster.

Protein! And lots of it.
Good sources:
Fish & Seafood
Seafood is one of the best sources of protein because it’s usually low in fat. Fish such as salmon is a little higher in fat but it is the heart-healthy kind: omega-3 fatty acids.
White-Meat Poultry
Stick to the white meat of poultry for excellent, lean protein. Dark meat is higher in fat. The skin is loaded with saturated fat, so remove skin before cooking.
Milk, Cheese Yogurt
Not only are dairy foods excellent sources of protein but they also contain valuable calcium. Choose skim or low fat dairy to keep bones and teeth strong, prevent osteoporosis and enhance weight loss.
Eggs
Eggs are one of the least expensive forms of protein. The American Heart Association says normal healthy adults can safely enjoy an egg a day.
Beans
One-half cup of beans contains as much protein as 3 ounces of broiled steak. Plus, these nutritious nuggets are loaded with fiber to keep you feeling full for hours.
Pork Tenderloin
This great and versatile white meat is 31% leaner than 20 years ago.
Soy
Twenty five grams of soy protein daily can help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. Combine soy protein foods like tofu with a healthy low fat diet.
Lean Beef
Lean beef has only one more gram of saturated fat than a skinless chicken breast. Lean beef is also an excellent source of zinc, iron and vitamin B12.
Protein on the Go
Grab a meal replacement drink, cereal bar or energy bar. Check the label to be sure the product contains at least 6 grams of protein, and is low in sugar and fat.
Nuts as well – Peanut Butter too!

u need to trim off the split ends evry 4-6 weeks and wash it very often (like evry day) dont use straightners, curling irons, or n e thing u plug in heat is BAD for growing hair
good luck!
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
try to keep from washing it every day. it needs its own oils to grow healthily. i used garnier fructis long and strong and my hair’s grown like 6 in. in about 4 mo. also, my mom used to tell me to take gelatin tablets. you can find ‘em at any drug store. just one or two a day and your nails and hair’ll grow faster. good luck.
i’ve also heard that braiding it at night (tightly) can make it grow because it pulls it, but i’ve never tried it

you shoud use champooo and conditioner abry 1 week and you shoudl be use sing it…………….. and any produt that you use and you hair grow longer
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
when you are in the shower, bring in a cheap brush, and brush your hair while you shower, and it should grow faster than it normaly does. It works for me. there is also this vitamin, i think OneSource, It says, nails, skin and hair, or sumthin like that.
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
well dont straighten it (if you do)too much because that dries your hair out and gives you split ends just use a good conditioner(like sunsilk, herbal essences etc) and if you get like really bad split ends then have your hair just trimmed at the hairdressers to get rid of them and then you’ve just got to wait !

I had this problem a few months ago, here’s some advise that I got,
-Cut your hair about 3-4 inches about every two months, that’ll make it grow faster
-Use a special kind of shampoo for your scalp to make your hair grow faster
-go to a hair salon and tell them to make your hair into thin layers and get out all the dead ends
I hope that helps!
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
Folic Acid vitamins will make your hair stronger but there is not anything that will make it grow faster.
September 15th, 2010 - 10:12
Well the best way to make your hair grow longer is time.
There’s really nothing that makes it grow faster, however, trimming it every 6 weeks is healthy for your hair making it easier to grow. Just keep in healthy (remember, your hair stays healthy through the scalp) so keep your scalp healthy as well. When your scalp is healthy…this MAY speed up the growing process…but its not deffinate. Shampoos, conditioners, vitamins…..They have no effect on the hairs growth. However, if you have the RIGHT shampoo & conditioner, it contributes to your hairs health and like i said before, that MAY speed up the growing process of your hair.
hopethishelps=]

Honestly theres no miracle pill that grows your hair… but some factors actually slow down or stop hair growth such as; lack of vitamin D and B and othe essential vitamins, poor conditioned hair, split ends, how you style your hair and sometimes diet.
I normally use coconut oil which is a secret in India to keep hair healthy, also hair seems longer because hair is nurtured with healthy oils of natural coconut . The best source of vitamin D is sunlight… so when sun appears in spring and summer protect your hair with high spf leave in conditioner and head out in the sun xxxx

If you keep your hair healthy (no heat products, wind, etc.) then you will not need to trim it to often.
Put leave in conditoner on it after you shower.
Only shampoo every few days but condition often.
Purchase a "deep conditioner" and leave it in your hair for a few hours. Do this weekly.
I put olive oil in my hair before i shower, and leaving mayonaise on your hair for 30 minutes makes your hair more healthy.
The healthier it is, the less you have to cut it and the faster is will grow!

I feel just like you!! Here are some ways to make your hair grow.. dont use a blowdryer very often and dont straighten/curl your hair. heat is very damaging. you cant try the mane n tail shampoo, it works well for me. there are also nail, skin, and hair vitamins you can take that work well and youy can purchase those at walmart for about $5/bottle of like 60. I also have this oil that you apply to your scalp twice a week you can google it and order it only for about $11, its called MaxGro and it kinda smells but works pretty good, i started using it about 3 weeks ago. Just watch your diet and try to eat right and before you know it you will have long beautiful hair!!! Good luck!

Hey there i have been growing my hair out too and you wont believe how i do it because it sounds strange but my hair is to my hips not and i have no split ends. see every 6 weeks go to your hair dressers and get your hair washed and trimmed and then maybe get your hair conditioned. then see after you get your hair done brush your hair loads and when ever you wash your hair yourself use what ever shampoo you usually use the same makes and type of conditioner for your hair. Head and shoulders is really good and not too much money either. and see when you do all of this try and avoid straightening your hair maybe straighten it on the odd day but see if you don’t do it often your hair becomes so much more healthier. I know getting your hair trimmed every 6 weeks may seem like a lot but by the end of your hair growth your hair will become really shiny and nice and even at the bottom and if you have seen angilina joli’s hair in tombraider it should start to look like that. I know this is a lot info but i did this and my hair is long and shiny and really brushed.

Well this is what I do , I own a Salon , first you need to have a healthy drug free body , toxins effect your hair big time . Start taking " Biotin " everyday , get it at the health food store it’s just for hair and skin. Then you can also take Omega-3 fatty acids they contain fish oil to nourish your hair. Then make sure you use good products on your hair ,from the beauty supply house or salon . Try to take good care of your hair never blow dry the ends only the top ,and don’t brush it alot , instead just run your fingers threw it if it gets messy . Good Luck .

try using the new frutris hair shampoo and conditioner for your hair…and what not to do is wait weeks before washing your hair…and dont leave it in one style just change it up so your hair gets use to the movement and flows away into growing to become longer..i hope i helped ten points plzzz…
