i just read an article that says vitamins c and e don’t prevent heart disease?

it then goes on to say that it might actually be harmful. Thoughts? The same article says that b-12 and folic acid did not prevent heart disease either.

despite this latest story i'm going to keep taking my multivitamin every other day thank you very much.

  1. The problem with the studies in question and many other such studies are that they involve vitamin pills. This is an unnatural way to get our vitamins (and minerals) . Many vitamins work together, or in synergy, such as vits A,D and K and in some cases, such as vits A and D, help protect from toxicity from each other. The only way to get full benefit from vitamins and minerals is to get them from nutrient dense foods, rather that quick fix pills

  2. I’ve read articles where they said vitamin E increases mortality. I take nothing.
