I just dyed my hair black?

I just dyed my hair black, and I was wondering what the best shampoo/conditioner would be?
I have this vitamin conditioner with vitamins B,C,E and K in it, along with avocado.
would that be helpful?
and would straightening my hair harm it? if so, what could i do to minimize damage, because I have to straighten my hair. Its a mess if I don't.
I request answers from those with experience dying their hair, or from stylists please!

  1. Salon Nexxus is really great for color treated hair. It works very well and is affordable. It’s available at most drugstores. For more information check out http://www.nexxus.com/Products

For the straightening part: Straightening hair slightly damages anyone’s hair. But using the correct products and keeping your hair healthy is a great way to prevent fried and damaged hair. Straightening dyed hair is fine.

  2. you should use herbal essences (: thats what i use and i have black hair to

  3. I’ve died my hair and I straighten it pretty much everyday. As long as you’re using healthy shampoos and what-not, you should be fine!

  4. Yess that conditioner would work great. :) Anything that has vitamins in it is good. Plus things that prevent dryness. Because dying your hair can make your hair a lil dry, I’d know xD.

For straightening your hair, I totally understand. I straighten mine too. Dont straighten it every single day. If you can, try to straighten it before you go to sleep, and keep it in a bun while you sleep (if it’s not too uncomfortable.) that way it wont be so messy when you get up. If you do need to straighten it every day, keep it on a low heat setting, so it wont damage it too much. Plus wash your hair more frequently. :) I hope this helped and good luck!!!

    P.S. Black hair rocks. :)

  5. i always Dye my hair black cause i like it:)
but heat damage didnt really help my hair color, but it didnt decrease the color either.
Mostly every time i shampooed it took some color out.
But storebought dyes dont last forever, they do fade eventually.
I strighten my hair evryday and if i dont i dont know what id do:)
get some products and search online for what best fits you

  6. use one with color protection like garnier because it keeps your color from fading, and it conditiones it :)
