I bought multi-vitamins for "active" people. Its got 1800% dv of Thiamin, and 800% dv of Riboflavin.Ok to use?
I didn't realize that it was for "active" people until I brought it home. I work at a desk job, and the only exercise I've been doing is in bed. I have been getting very warm after taking this multivitamin. Is it because of the extreme amounts of Thiamin and Riboflavin? I know Niacin can have this affect on me, but there is only 100% Niacin. Also has 3mg L-Carnitine.
The multivitamin is from BeachBody Nutritionals. Its called ActiVit. Anyone taken this, or know if there are any side effects of having too much of a certain vitamin/mineral?

Just spread some marmite on them this has extra Riboflavinoids in its one of the few foods that do.
Apparently flavins are E no’s but I understood Riboflavins help boost the immune system. So if you are active then they do what they say on the box, I guess, if you think you need those extra vitamins to back up your defences. But lots of specific herbs and food boost your immune system.
Have you bought this make before? I have heard of it but you probably don’t need it that much.
However, if its energy you need and general good health then get some Korean Ginseng to improve your circulation, the Chinese swear by it and I use it more than any vitamin substitute. Beware though it can cause a raging skullache in certain cases.
You may lack protein or sugars if you get shaky or lacking water if you feel drained water will help send all the vital vitamins and minerals around the body.

The vitamins you ask about are B vitamins, which are water soluable. You’ll end up peeing most of them out. It’s a bit of a waste, really.
Vitamin A can be very toxic at high doses. I don’t remember what else is dangerous offhand.
