Moisture is the key. Moisture doesn’t mean, moisturizer product, or a growth treatment. It means water, and weekly cleansing. If you seal in a good water based moisturizer, and seal it with a natural oil (I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil) that will make you retain length as well. Your hair IS growing, you just aren’t retaining length. Your hair grows a little bit, then breaks off. Make sure you wash your hair once a week, (YOU MUST in order to ensure moisture and prevent breakage)and follow up with a deep conditioner. Use a protein treatment every 6 weeks. Wear protective styles, to keep the oldest part of your hair, the ends, from wear and tear. Do not use heat styling, it’s bad for the cuticules, if you must use a heat protectant. I don’t use hot oil treatments but if you do, just apply warm hot six oil and leave it on for about 10-15 min then wash out with cold water. And remeber those bottles that say "Hair growth serum" and "2 inches in 2 days", it’s all propoganda. The real growth comes from patience and persitence. I hope this helps. Good luck (:

Hello.
I’m american but I have naturally dry- brittle hair, and I have figured out how to get it to shine and not be so limp. So you take any leave- in conditioner, and about two tablespoons add to a cup of water, then add a drop of olive oil and a drop of vinegar. Mix or shake really well into a spray container, and apply to dry hair. You can also spray onto your hair if it’s wet or before you blow dry or curl or straighten. It works really well and it shines a lot even though my hair isn’t dark brown or black. But it won’t make your hair weigh down or greasy. I just thought I would try to help. :) and by the way, just wash your hair with a normal shampoo about 4 times a week and condition it 4 or 3 times a week. Also I rinse my hair with cold water, the coldest you can stand. And I don’t blow dry my hair after I shower at night, because it leaves my hair even more dry, and out of control. I think you should let it air- dry.
Sorry if this didn’t help, but I’m sure your hair will be glowing. :)
