How to simply whiten your teeth with at home essentials
I actually have been using this method for a year or two now. I asked my dentist before hand, to ensure that it was safe. He told me that it would be perfectly fine, as long as i used it with moderation (hence I use it once a week in a small amount ). About year a year ago, I used crest white strips and this would be great to maintain a white smile after I finish the white strips package. And yes baking soda does have a horrible better taste, I believe it is basic in pH. That is why it should be used with toothpaste to help hide its true taste and used in a tiny amount also. First off, good tip for whitening. Some say it may be harmful to do this. I say to do this method in moderation is harmless, too often may damage teeth but 2 times a week or less is harmless.

I’ve actually made baking POWDER and it’s not just for when you don’t have baking soda. It’s a mix of baking soda and tartaric acid, and there’s TWICE the amount of tartaric acid then baking soda. If you use a pinch of baking powder instead of baking soda, it won’t whiten your teeth. At all.

Tooth paste has baking soda in too, i sprinkle abit of baking soda on tooth paste that protects tooth enamel :)
