Our biggest fear is looking foolish, and this gives you the opportunity to correct anything you don't like. Practice until you are satisfied with your delivery. Step 2: Stand up Stand up a few moments before you take the stage. When you go from sitting to standing, your blood pressure drops, leaving your brain with less oxygen for about two minutes. We know because it’s easy to tell whether someone does drugs and obama shows no signs of it whatsoever.
None of our presidents could be trusted? What are you talking about? What about Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, and all the other great presidents?

Presidents aren’t allowed to do that, dipshit. He wouldn’t be president otherwise.

Use your logic. They were presidents, they didn’t use drugs like that. They aren’t allowed to.
June 17th, 2009 - 01:19

practice makes improvement. it’s only nervous up there when you DON’T know what to say. and most importantly, to be a good speaker, it’s important to transfer feelings and emotions instead of just obvious scripted lines.

Oh man, playing on a baseball national team I get interviewed a lot, and I’m just terrible at talking. Maybe I’ll try this, and be able to talk normally, rather than thinking a bunch.

Epic Fail. And your postural hypotension should correct in under a minute after standing up. I think Howcast should do their research properly first…

I don’t think standing up for 2 minutes before presenting would work because what if the teacher is speaking? Then you’ll look like an idiot standing while everyone else is sitting down.
Writing on the chalkboard (or whiteboard) wouldn’t work either for the same reason, the teacher may be talking in front of the class and wouldn’t allow it
May 18th, 2010 - 00:57
I needed that! :D
July 27th, 2010 - 07:25
@explizidace actually beta-blockers changed my life and now I can give speeches on the fly as long as I have them. As a result of this, I’ve been promoted numerous times because I’m not afraid anymore.
