How to make/help hair grow faster?
My little brother is growing his hair out because he wants to get dreads. I also figured I should mention that he is white. My best friends husband is black and he is doing the same thing. My best friend has found stuff for African-American hair, to help his hair stay healthy and grow faster, but I don't know what would help with a white persons hair? I know that's bad seeing as how I am white, but I have never needed to grow my hair out fast for anything. I just wash and condition my hair and blow dry it, so outside of that, I don't know. So, does anyone know of anything that will help? Any foods he could eat to help, any vitamins, any hair products, anything? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! : ) Thanks in advance! : )

My hair is really long (almost to my bellybutton) it is also healthy and i did these things to make it grow faster:
1.take vitamins with a high concentration of Biotin: Biotin promotes the growth of hair and nails
2. Massage your scalp: I know that sounds really weird but if you do it, it gets the blood and circulation flowing to your head and stimulates the cells needed to grow hair
3. Get a trim every 6 weeks…this sounds like it will just slow things down but it does the opposite
4. Instead of blow drying it, let it dry naturally to prevent damage.
5. lastly, lots of patience.
