how to make my nails stronger after tips off?
i have weak/thin nails. for the past 5 months i have been having them done with acrylics/tips. they were beautiful, but this last time i was going to do a new set again and the nail bed seemed to be so thin after they took them off that i decided to wait. Now i have really really this nails, they are all trimmed back to the fingertip or farther back and they look ok i think, but they are so thin, they are sensitive and catch and rip on anything. my nail lady said to rest them a few days and use prenatal vitamins and some hoof cream on them. it;s been a couple of days and they don;t seem better. i really don;t want to keep up with the tips and i am afraid of getting an infection in my nail beds- so i want to lay off getting the tips and try to strengthen and grow these. what can i do? should i put a clear coat like sally's nail stronger or something? because they are kind of tender i figured it was best not to put anything else on them at this point?
