How to lower my blood pressure?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and my blood pressure is high. Doctor said if I don't get it lower I will be put on bedrest at 20 weeks!!! She put me on a blood pressure med, but I don't know if it is going to work. I don't want to be on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy and am desperate to get my bp lower. Please, anybody know any natural ways?

  1. There are medications to lower blood pressure and vitamins that can normalize the blood pressure and heart rate. Rules prohibit advertising here. If you e mail me I will tell you more about this vitamin. I am taking it and it works. One other way is to avoid too much sodium in your diet. Caffeine is another.

  2. Garlic lowers blood pressure.

  3. i think or just suggest that you’ll have to take some proper or exact diet plan, like eating more fruits and green leafy vegetables… wish you luck…

  4. Don’t eat a lot of salty foods

  5. Do what your doctor tells you to. My sister’s blood pressure started to go up almost at the end of her pregnancy and she she had to give birth like asap. I saw her minutes before she was taken to the operating room and she was swollen like hell, her fingers and toes were like sausages and her face was like a full moon, her body was shapeless. The doctor said she could not have any more children after that. Following the advice of some well meaning people may affect you to the point of putting yourself and your child in danger, sometimes the active ingredient in these natural remedies can do more harm than good.

  6. I don,t know or ever heard of any ways to lower blood pressure without medication…If the medication that she put you on is not working im sure she will change it..do you have a blood pressure machine? If not you can purchase one from a pharmacy and keep track of your pressure…
