How many vitamins does a 50 year old woman really need to take?


Are vitamins really necessary or are they a waste of money? I was told they end up in the toilet when you go to the bathroom.

  1. They should take the vitamins that say "50 and over". They contain all of the vitamins and nutrients that their body needs.

  2. I agree with the first answer. You should take one multi vitamin a day that is designed for people over 50. Drs. also recommend extra Vit. D and women should take calcium supplements.
