How long will my hair grow before summer 2011 ? Read for details .?

Okay so,
on July 23rd coming up is the day I start to run 2 miles a day, and crunches and etc ..
And also I'm gonna be on dietary lockdown,

eggs breakfast, water
salad and grapes lunch, water
steamed brocolli and some meat like grilled chicken dinner, water

stuff like that .. And I'm only going to drink water and a lot of it everyday ,

and now to hair ..
I bought women's one daily vitamins, a multiple vitamin to help growth and healthiness of the hair, skin, nails, diet etc.
I'll take one a day ..

And also before bed every night, I'll put olive oil in my hair to help it too.
Then get up in the morning and take a shower.
And I use dove therapy shampoo and a lot of their conditioner,

and I never burn m hair, only air dry .

But I have burned my hair .. Damaged it really bad but I got a trim, still have some dead ends under my hair ..

Someone help ?

I want to grow 9-10 inches .

  1. Hair grows on an average of 1/2 inch per month….give or take. Eating a lot of foods rich in protien, i.e. eggs, peanut butter, nuts, ect. will help the growth too. When shampooing hair, rub your scalp thoroughly with the pads of your fingers…do not use your nails! When you rub/massage your scalp, you are bringing the blood to the surface of your scalp which nourishes new hair growth. And get regular trims, even though you want to grow it out….cause if the ends are split or dried out in any way, they don’t get oxygen…and if you wait to long in between trims, then you’ll end up cutting more off than you want to get all the "bad ends" off.

  2. I hat to tell you this but it grows 2 inches a motnth and dont over treat it that can hurt it lax off the conditioner for a whilr it will probaply grow 2o or 15 inches

  3. Good Grief Malloryan . . . that was a LOT of additional detail and completely irrelevant to your question too . .

The speed of hair growth is roughly 1.25 centimeters or 0.5 inches per month . . so . ..

assuming you live in the northern hemisphere .. 5 to 6 inches

  4. Hair grows about an half inch per month, but can grow more rapidly during the Winter months. Lifting shampoos do a great job at keeping the root-follicle-shaft area clear, and unobstructed for growth (no blockage). Your diet of veggies and fruits is on point to add the needed vitamins (vital- amines which are the structural components needed to form the amino acids which will form the proteins to build hair strands) to the blood for healthy locks. Massaging the scalp will also assist with dermal blood flow, leading to hair growth. By summer 2011 you should be 6-9 inches longer than where you are now.
