how long to u leave shampoo on your hair?
I see all these shampoos that they sell at the store come with all the minerals and vitamins and proteins too. But how long do you leave the shampoo on your hair so you can get all the health benefits of the shampoo if any. Usually I leave the shampoo on my hair for 40 seconds before I rinse it off. ALso what is a mane and tail shampoo for, i see the picture of the horse on the label.

ok, heres a little hint about shampoos…. they REMOVE dirt from your hair. their main purpose is not to benefit your hair.. its to clean it!
if you want to benefit your hair, and return some of the healthy stuff the shampoo just washed off, try a fortified conditioner..and leave that in your hair for a while.
mane & tail is intended for use on horses. not humans. although a lot of cheap humans use it. the thing is, the proteins in our hair are different than the ones in horse hair, so the shampoo is different as well. i suggest you don’t use it unless u have VERY oily hair. it was made for horses, not humans. but some cheap ppl in the south figured it was the same thing, and started using it, thats where all the hype came in from, and thats why its being sold in major chain stores.
also, don’t buy into the shampoo hype — all it does is clean, it doesn’t matter what added vitamins and proteins it has in it. its not gonna stick to your hair if the shampoo is doing what it should be doing, and that is cleaning your hair of the oils and dirt you have accumulated throughout the day.. so i suggest buying cheap Vo5 or Suave shampoo, and reserving your $ for a good conditioner + leave in conditioner/hair cream.

you have a good method there, i don’t see a need to change it!
