How Do You Raise Your Blood Pressure?
I am trying to raise my blood pressure without going to the doctor, as I have no medical insurance. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It would be helpful to know your blood pressure. Many people have low blood pressure and it does not lead to any problems. Symptoms of a low blood pressure include lightheadedness and fatigue. If you do not have these symptoms, then you do not need to do anything for your blood pressure. In fact, having a blood pressure on the lower side actually reduces your risk of future health problems, such as heart attacks and strokes. If you are having lightheadedness, then you need to be evaluated by your doctor to determine the best treatment. Increasing your fluid and salt intake can increase the blood pressure, but this can be dangerous in excessive amounts. Caffeine and nicotine can both increase your blood pressure, but I would not recommend them for this purpose.

Drink a coke while consuming a bag of potato chips. How low is your BP?

Drinking a lot of water and other fluids may help. Elevating the legs when you are feeling dizzy or lightheaded may also help. Other than that there’s not too many things that can be done at home without a doctor’s help to raise your blood pressure other than hydrate.

Start yelling at a person for no reason and then go punch a wall 20 times. I’m not kidding.

Increase your water and salt intake. Low blood pressure is caused by not drinking enough water (dehydration) and the salt retains the water.

This is a major health insurance plan for individuals and families. If you are looking for comprehensive long term health insurance coverage for yourself and/or your family members who are 62 years old or younger – this is the plan to choose.
